We invite you to attend the 9th IWRS, taking place from 12-16 September 2016 in Namibia. This symposium will focus on the potential of wildlife, to not only lead to the conservation of the natural environment, but also to contribute significantly to the welfare of indigenous communities. In this way we can optimize biodiversity, the conservation of wildlife and encourage and support rural communities to create more long-term, sustainable wildlife ranches and conservancies.

This is also a perfect opportunity to tour the beautiful country of Namibia before or after the symposium!

The 9th IWRS will consist of two plenary sessions and the following elective specialist streams:

  1. Wildlife Management
  2. Non-consumptive use of Wildlife
  3. Consumptive use of Wildlife
  4. 2nd African Buffalo Symposium

We have already received excellent abstracts from local and international speakers. Should you be interested in giving a presentation, please submit abstracts for consideration urgently.

We are looking forward to welcome you to Namibia!
