The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) is charged with the responsibility for the implementation, operation and maintenance of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP) in Lesotho on behalf of the Governments of the Kingdom of Lesotho and the Republic of South Africa. The Project comprises water transfer and hydropower generation components and ancillary developments, with Phase I of the Project completed in 2004.

Over the next eight (8) years, the LHDA will be implementing Phase II of the LHWP, with this being a unique opportunity to develop skills and deepen experience for the benefit of Lesotho and South Africa. The LHDA provides young professionals with experiential learning that supports their transition into the working environment. It is intended that more than one hundred (100) internships will be provided during the implementation of Phase II.

The LHDA therefore invites applications from recent graduates for consideration as per the following PDF.
