The PetroAfricanusClub has established a worldwide reputation as a key private network for management, African deal-making in oil and gas, and new business relationships for the Continent. The 66thPetroAfricanus Dinner In Africa is hosted by Global Pacific & Partners within the annual Africa Oil Week on Monday evening.

Guest Speaker: Richard Dowden, Executive Director of the Royal African Society, the prestigious British institution that harks back to its establishment in 1901, and has been one of Africa’s prime journalists, authors and commentators for well over 30 years, much of it spent on sojourns in the Continent, from 1971 onwards. Following an illustrious career inter alia with The Times, as Africa Editor of The Independent, and Africa Editor with The Economist, he has published widely on critical issues shaping Africa: its political economy, presidents, foreign policy, failed states, writers and thinkers, strategies and contemporary issues.
